DECEMBER 2021 UPDATE - We are now closed for food distribution.

Fawkner Commons was a Covid-19 response food distribution hub by locals for locals. We worked with local and small-scale producers to provide fresh produce, organics, bread and dairy on a weekly basis for pickup.

Food justice is at the heart of what we do and why we do it. We believe that every person has the right to fresh, affordable, culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound methods. That's why we had our Pay-it-Forward (PIF) program and the 'Food with Dignity' project in collaboration with the Open Food Network and CIS Moreland. These programs helped support localised food security in Fawkner.
